5 Ways to Chill The F*** Out On A Budget

Hey guys! This past week has been INSANE! Luke and I have been car shopping and finally it is coming to the end. I apologize for the lack of blog posts last week but life catches up sometimes! Who knew adulting could be so difficult?

Because I’ve been so exhausted and stressed out, I’ve been testing a few relaxation strategies this week and decided that this would be an awesome topic to write about. Here are a few tried and true ways to chill the f*** out without breaking the bank!

1. Take Up Gardening

I find that there is something serene and relaxing about being around greenery. What better way to escape the complicatedness of life than to go back to the basics: water, sun and soil!

2. Dance Away Your Stress

You don’t have to be a professional dancer! Just make a groovy playlist and use your living room or bedroom as the dance floor. Make sure your shake your hips! It’s not dancing unless your hips are seen moving!

3. Soak In Some Bubbles

Bubble baths are the first thing that pop into my mind when I think of relaxing. It’s simple and feels luxurious! If you haven’t checked out my Bubble Bath post then be sure to do for some awesome bubbly ideas! 

4. Take Some Photos

Taking pictures and capturing some gorgeous sights is a wonderful way to unwind. Your mind becomes to focused on capturing a beautiful shot that your frustrations just melt away! You don’t need an expensive camera, I usually just use my IPhone camera for some breathtaking shots!

5. Read a Book

I’ve noticed how sucked into a book I can get and there is a reason for that. It’s literally a mental vacation away from all of life’s stressful moments. It’s hard to make time to read in your day but if you can set aside at least 30 minutes, you’ll notice how clear your head will be after. My favorite book? Anything from the Harry Potter Series!
